My father and my step-father are diabetic (both type II), as well as my cousin's soon-to-be husband (type I), so I am grateful to have such support in my family. The rest of my family and friends have been amazing, too. The diagnosis was huge blow for me at first; I experienced a lot of anxiety, but I find myself adjusting better with each passing day!
