I have been diabetic for 19 years. I don't really every remember life without diabetes. I have been on a mini med pump and now a deltec cosmo pump for a running total of 7 years. I have never had any serious complications due to my diabetes...Only hospitalized when I was diagnosed. Diabetes runs in my family and my dad was diagnosed with type one at age 50. I am very open about my diabetes so if anyone every has any questions let me know! :)
