My name is Corey. I'm was diagnosed as a T2 in March 2005. I'm currently on MDI's + orals. Last A1c was 6.5.

I would like to encourage any diabetics (no matter what type!) to try out a new Diabetes Support Group being faciliated by the Medical College of Wis and Froedtert Hospital. Even though it's being put on by Froedtert, you don't have to be a Froedtert patient to attend.

We've had two meetings thus far. It would be great if we had more participation. I am usually one of the only guys there and the only one under age 50!!!

If you are diabetic or know someone who is diabetic, please consider coming to one of the meetings and try it out. It's very informal, but handled professionally. I'm going to paste in a link with the calendar and agenda's.
