About me:

I am a divorced T2 (recently as you can see from the pics), trying to get a grip on this thing seriously for the first time. I just started on insulin right before Christmas, 2007 after a non-diabetes related illness. I was on insulin only in the hospital and felt so much better, I requested the doc put me on insulin. I am SO glad to be off all those rotten pills. So here I am learning.

Dear Ima, Where exactly is Caddo Mills, Texas ? I live in Houston, Texas. I take both metormin , along with novolog and lantus insulin. I was very resistant to taking the insulins. Now I"ve more or less accepted it. Would love to hear from you when you're availible.

Waking BS was 131 tonight. I know that doesn't sound very good but I have been hitting anywhere from 190 to 210 on waking. It's slowly coming in line (I hope).
