We have added a couple of new features!

1. "About me" in user profiles:
Now you can add text in "About me" in your profile

2. Media Album (formerly "Photo Album'):
You can now upload images, videos and audio to your media albums.
Allowed file types: jpg, gif, jpeg, png, bmp, mp3, mpeg, avi, mpa, mov, qt, swf
Be aware that we do not allow upload of files bigger than 2MB per file.
At the moment you have 10MB for your media files. This limit may be raised in the near future.

3. Add YouTube videos to your blog:
click the "source" button in the blog entry editor and insert the video's embed code

4. Blog Categories
We have added the following blog entry categories
- Diabetes Life
- Diabetes Type 1
- Diabetes type 2
- Diabetes Food
- Diabetes Exercise
- Other

I am Jens Christensen, and I was diagnosed a T2 diabetic in 2007.
It was quite a surprice and very frustrating, as I knew extremely little about diabetes. I had a lot of questions and used the internet a lot to find information about diabetes.

That is why I have now created a social networking site for diabetics.
I have enjoyed collecting information by interacting with other diabetics through forums other dicussion sites, and I believe that social networking is a great way to connect with other diabetics, learning more about the decease as well as finding good advice from other people affected by the condition.

Signing up and using the site is free.

The service includes:

- network group creation
- friendship module
- messaging
...and plenty more

The site has just been started, and we are in the phase of building up a network of users.
