Anyone else out there struggling to get thier a1c down to the normal range so they can have a baby??? I have a 4 year old that is perfect in everyway! My blood sugar was the best its ever been while i was pregnant...a1c's of 5.8 and 6's...ever since i've been anywhere from 8.3 (now) to 13! Yipes!!! My endo wants me to be at 7.5 before we start trying but my geez! Its driving me crazy! just wondering if anyone else was having this issue???? Or had this issue and got it in control?? It def helps having a goal to work towards to keep me checking my sugars like i should but no matter how many times i check or how often, i go from one extreme to the next. this morning i was at 258 and was 65, 2 hours later...i'm sure you feel my frustrations. Any suggestions?

I'm new to this website. I've been a diabetic for just over 10 years now. I came across this website and my first thought was holy cow, people that understand me. No one around me, no friends, no family, no aquaintances have diabetes...whats a girl to do.  The only person i knew of that was also diabetic was a boy in high school that cared more about drinking all week then coming to the nurses office for a snack and a glucose check. So we never crossed paths. As you know, you dont' truly know until you experience this for yourself. well, so far i'm liking this website...i just dont' know anyone...or really where to start...what do i say, Hi, I noticed that you have diabetes...well, duh! lol...So, being the hesitant shy girl that i am...lets chat...i'm here just for friendship, and a common goal...venting about this irrating issue that we have, and we live with. Talk to ya soon!
