just checking in with the hope that this site might provide some interesting exchanges of views, however, I do see several "garbage type" posts on the opening page and I do wonder what that's all about.

I am motivated to join here because I do currently operate 2 blog-sites, a few months old, with the object of providing information to my fellow diabetics and hope I am not now contravening any rule by giving the site URL's here and inviting your visit and critiques of the content.

called "Diabetes Information for Diabetics Like Me" with URL http://DiabetesInformationExchange.com, I' not sure whether I will continue with that one.

There are also a couple of dozen diabetes articles out there posted on e-zine, if anyone is interestd I could provide a list, and lastly , the question: "Could I post an article on this site?"

I get frustrated because this site has a chat feature that NOBODY USES, I'm the only one who logs into it lol!!!! So depressing... I want to chat with my fellow diabetics. I want to feel I am not alone. I want to feel comradeship. Yes!! I do!!! I get the feeling I'm in a ghost town here where it's like wandering around a bunch of dusty old shelves or spider webby rooms... lol am I the only one serious in here? A coupple of people hit me up in my messages for DATING lol!! I didn't know this was an alternate dating website... God I just can't get away from people falling in cyber love with me. I'm just saying I'm in a ghost town here I think.... hellooooo echoooooo.......

Hellloooooo I'm new here, a little bit about myself, I have had type 1 for 21 yrs, I take Novorapid 3 times a day and Insulatard before bed. I had my child 9 yrs ago while I was diabetic, I have had a few problems recently with massive hypo's and it has frightened my child and made her a little bit anxious. I have had lots of help from my DN and I am going on a carb counting course in september. How about you? best wishes Catwoman
