Thanks so much for creating the Born Again Diabetics group,Suzanne! What a great idea and a great motivator to get us Born Agains on track by supporting one another.
I also love Jesus! And I love how you put that: that we're all walking libraries of wisdom and experience. Thanks for sharing the info about your grandma.
I work in ministry at a church in Orange County and love the people I serve with. I volunteer with a group of young adults with varying mental and physical disabilities, and absolutely love it.
I am an aunt to 1 niece and 2 nephews whom I adore. (They live in my homestate of Oregon with the rest of my family, which makes me miss them terribly!) I love reading and discussing books, writing, exercising, cooking, attempting to play the violin, and I love good music.
I'm trying to do life with diabetes as best as I can, but the more support and motivation from others in the same boat, the better!
Well thanks! "Born again" was actually a term my DOCTOR used!! It made me feel so normal! I knew that if my doctor had a term for it, that I certainly couldn't be the only one...so I am on the prowl for others who have "seen the light" and are working hard to stay healthy or even those who just need a little encouragement to find that light. I am looking forward to sharing many stories with you!!
