My last Hga1c was 6.2 in July. But I'm concerned because my fasting blood sugars are high .Can anyone tell me why this happens ?

I was diagnosed with type 2 in May 2007. From when I was diagnosed, I started on insulin and metformin. I really hate taking insulin.
